LATEST NEWS FEBRUARY 2010

January tends to be a quiet month at Willianways making time to look back over 2009 which was amazing in so many ways.  At Crufts Isla won her class and was shortlisted to the top three bitches. Judge Jean Entwistle said in her critique, "She is very sound on the move. Considered her for top honours."

Mac gained Show Certificate of Merit from points gained at open shows and he won the Dog Challenge Certificate at three Championship Shows becoming a Show Champion.  His first CC came at Border Union under judge Meg Purnell-Carpenter who said, "Beautifully balanced throughout.....extremely sound on the move.
I was pleased to award him the CC and feel he will soon get others."   His second CC came at City of Birmingham and judge Eric Broadhurst wrote, "A truly correct specimen who could do a day's work and come back for more."   At Working & Pastoral Breeds Assoc. of Scotland Judith Gregory awarded him the vital third CC and said, "Hallelujah - just what I was looking for.   3 year old dog with the most superb movement I have seen in a Border Collie.  The dog's conformation is excellent and exemplifies the Border Collie standard."   We are very proud that our Mac has received such high praise from these top judges.

Along the way Mac also won Best in Show at the prestigious Border Collie Club of Great Britain open show and judge Pat Endersby says, "What a dog!....."
We couldn't put it better ourselves.

Isla and Mac became proud parents of three gorgeous boys on 12th August.  We have kept one and called him Cupar.   Now six months old, Cupar will make his show-ring debut in the next few weeks.  Till then we are keeping him under wraps.
