Rannoch was the first puppy born at Willianways. He pretty much delivered himself and didn't bother about little things like whelping boxes. He popped out on the carpet and he and his mother had to be quickly scooped up and put where they belonged. Because the pups were born at Easter time we chose the name True Valour and he was the logical pup to carry the name. He has a delightful confident happy nature.
To our delight Rannoch qualified for Crufts 2005 at his first show, Driffield, and, the next year, again at Driffield, he qualified for Crufts 2006. He qualified for Crufts 2007 at South Wales under Mr Bruce Kilsby and 2008 at Paignton thanks to Mrs Kathleen Frawley. At Crufts 2008 he took 3rd place in Graduate Dog. The judge's critique describes him very accurately as a masculine, attractive, heavily coated dog with sound movement. No wonder we call him our "Big Bear".
