Introducing Cupar! Cute or what? He really is a lovely young dog to have around and especially enjoys playing with his mum Isla and dad Mac. Granny Cara pretends she is not amused but has been caught off-guard larking about.
Cupar has only just started his show career and is very promising with a lovely body shape, wonderful honest expression and he already moves with style. As always we will be taking things very slowly with this youngster but we are proud to have pinned up his first Best Puppy rosette from the Norfolk and Norwich Open Show on 18th April 2010. He went one better at Thetford Open Show on 16th May by representing Border Collies in the Pastoral Puppy Group and taking third place. At Border Union and also at Paignton Cupar qualified for Crufts 2011.
Now we are bringing him out to a few shows in 2011 and he qualified for Crufts 2012 by taking 2nd place in Yearling dog at Border Collie Club of GB thanks to judge Kathleen Frawley. Recently at The Bournemouth Championship Show judge Pam Harris gave him first place in Novice Class. We feel that he is maturing really nicely - in body anyway - the brain is steadfastly loopy.
