Isla is a cousin once removed of Cara. She is beautifully marked with good, free and stylish movement.
Isla was given time to settle in but she went very well at her first show. The judge said she had a very promising future. This proved to be true when she took first place in Minor Puppy Bitch at Darlington Champ Show under Ron F Parkes. Moving up to Puppy she took first place at N.W. Border Collie Club Champ Show under specialist Jacky Lloyd. At Grantham Open Show she was Reserve Best Puppy in Show. She won Junior Bitch at Border Union under Keith Nathan.
At N.W.B.C.C 2006 from Yearling she took the Bitch Challenge Certificate. The judge was Ann Stacey.
At Crufts 2007 Isla gained first place in Mid Limit Bitch from Mrs Judith Gregory. At Crufts 2009 she won the same class and was shortlisted to the final three for Best Bitch. The judge who made our day was Mrs Jean Entwistle.
We are very proud of Isla who is also lovely to live with and proved to be an excellent mother to her three boy pups born 12 August.
